Berlin, 25 June 2018 – ACCENTRO Real Estate AG (WKN: A0KFKB, ISIN: DE000A0KFKB3) in Berlin, a leader in residential property privatisation in Germany, has acquired an office building located at Kantstrasse 44/45 in Berlin-Charlottenburg. With a total area of around 3,300 sqm, ACCENTRO will use the building to house its new headquarters. In addition, the property is suitable for the construction of apartments with a total gross floor area of approximately 2,900 sqm.

“The acquisition concludes an almost two-year search for the ideal location for our corporate headquarters. The vacancy rate for commercial real estate reached an all-time-low of less than two per cent inside the S-Bahn-ring. The commercial rents rise rapidly, resulting in monthly rents of more than 40 Euro per square meter in top locations. We avoid the rising rents with the acquisition of an own office. Furthermore, now we are able to profit from the expected positive value development. Additionaly, the real estate property allows the construction of additional appartments, which would strengthen our core business.”
