ACCENTRO Acquires 186 Residential Units in Central

Berlin, 22 December 2017 – The Berlin-based property company ACCENTRO Real Estate AG (WKN: A0KFKB, ISIN: DE000A0KFKB3) just bought seven multi-family dwellings in excellent locations of Berlin.

“These latest acquisitions show that we operate successfully in a fiercely competitive housing market, and that we are consistently expanding our privatisation portfolio. The apartments are in very good repair, and – given their excellent location within Berlin – equally suitable for buy-to-let investors and owner-occupiers,” said Jacopo Mingazzini, CEO of ACCENTRO Real Estate AG.

Overall, ACCENTRO spent 160.62 million euros in 23 different transactions to buy a total of 1,346 residential units. In addition to the company’s core market of Berlin, acquisitions focused on the cities of Leipzig, Hanover and Cologne.

“Parallel to our acquisitions of existing properties, we are also expanding in the housing development sector. Here, we focus on collaborative ventures with experienced developers that bring advanced technical know-how to the table. We, in turn, commit our sales performance to these joint ventures. Now that the first project has been successfully marketed in Neukölln, we are actually going ahead with a follow-up project of 34 units, working with the same partner, and again in Neukölln. The next joint ventures are already in preparation,” Mingazzini went on to say.
